Which dates were researched?
Kyoto: 29 November to 4 December 2026, five nights. Osaka: 4 to 10 December 2026, six nights. These are provisional research windows, not a confirmed itinerary. A different split needs new pricing, especially Osaka's Friday and Saturday nights. The research was checked on 27 October 2026.
Are taxes and cancellation included?
Google displayed tax-inclusive totals, but local accommodation taxes may still be collected separately. Check the seller's breakdown rather than adding tax automatically. Cancellation was not established for most offers. For Brighton, Canvas and Daiwa, the research recorded specific cancellation cutoffs, which must be checked again with the seller.
Can we book bigger rooms?
Yes, but the larger categories in this guide have not been priced. Forza's 26 m² Twin and M’s Plus's 21 m² Twin are useful next checks. A hotel's entry-room benchmark is not proof of the room behind the advertised rate. Confirm beds, non-smoking status, floor plan, child policies and occupancy with the hotel.
Are the scores guest ratings?

What about Nara, Kibune or Kumano Kodo?
This shortlist covers Osaka and Kyoto bases, not hotels in all of Kansai. Nara requires onward rail connections; Kibune has its own transfers. Full hotel-to-USJ and hotel-to-Kibune timings were not checked. If Kumano Kodo stays in the trip as an overnight, replace city nights and reprice rather than adding an unbudgeted twelfth night.
